When Easter rolls around, Zeppole di San Giuseppe are on the menu!  These baked delights are the equivalent of a profiterole but with a doughnut-like appearance.  Light, airy puffed rings filled with luscious European pastry cream (not whipped cream) and topped with a decorative Maraschino cherry.  A delicious pastry sensation with a lovely presentation.
